Announcing the 2018 Slate of Officers and Directors

The Nominations Committee presents the following slate for the 2018 election cycle:
Directors listed in alphabetical order (six to be elected): Kasey Allee-Foreman, Andrea Bilkey, Christin Essin, Brian Huneycutt, Ryan Kirk, Anne McMills, Todd Proffitt, Tina Shackleford, David Stewart, Jim Streeter, Kristina Tollefson, Yolanda Williams
Candidates for board officers are (one to be elected):
- Vice-President for Communications: Rafael Jaen, Mike Monsos
- Vice-President for International Activities: Kevin Rigdon
- Vice-President for Education & Training: Tammy Honesty
The six elected Directors, and Officers, will serve three-year terms beginning July 1, 2019.
The work of the 2017-2018 Nominations Committee in recruiting candidates and stewarding applications through the nominations process is greatly appreciated. This is a time-intensive procedure that involves a great deal of thoughtful observation and identification of future leaders of the Institute.
Additional candidates can be added to the ballot by petition signed by 50 USITT members. For information on the process, e-mail Paul Brunner. Deadline for adding names to the ballot is Sept. 1.
Online voting for the 2018 slate of candidates will begin Nov. 1 and run through Dec. 10. Read Sightlines in the coming months for information on candidate profiles and position statements.
