Are you a professional in the early years of your career developing your artistry and portfolio of achievements? Or, do you know a colleague or young professional deserving recognition for their work in lighting, sound, scenic, projection or a combination of these fields? If someone comes to mind, consider nominating them for USITTs 2018 Rising Star Award.
Nominees must be in the first four years of professional, non-academic work following completion of their highest degree. The deadline to nominate is November 30.
The designer selected as the 2018 Rising Star will receive the award at USITTs 2018 Annual Conference & Stage Expo March 14-17 in Fort Lauderdale. LDI/Live Design sponsors the $1,000 prize and USITT provides Conference registration and membership.
