These Companies are Recruiting: They Want YOU!

A number of prominent companies in the industry will have their feelers out for potential new employees to join their teams at USITT 2018, and they want you to know!

Exhibitors from all facets of live entertainment will soon fill the Stage Expo floor. They encourage you to connect with them on LinkedIn prior to the Conference. By linking your LinkedIn profile to your USITT registration, you can be visible to exhibiting companies and indicate the types of opportunities you would like to be matched with.

That’s not all. Job openings will also be posted in the interview area for you to review. Exhibitors, companies, and schools will pin job opportunities in the interview area in order to inquire with them about potential careers when you stop by their booths. If all goes well, it’s back to the interview area!

Companies such as Disney, Cirque du Soleil, SeaWorld, and Feld Entertainment will be recruiting for touring productions. Clearwing, PSAV, and BCi Integrated Solutions will be adding to their audio products teams. Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, and Carnival Cruise Lines will navigate the Expo floor looking for future on-board technicians. Regional theatres including Utah Shakespeare Festival, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Santa Fe Opera, Glimmerglass Festival, and Sight & Sound Theatres will be looking for applicants as well. These are only a sampling of the over 40 companies that will be recruiting at USITT’s 2018 Stage Expo.

More than 85 universities such as the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Yale School of Drama, Penn State University, California Institute of the Arts, and Florida State University will be scouting for graduate and undergraduate students. Get ready to see what possibilities your future holds!
