Poster sessions for 2018 have gone digital!
At USITT 2018, poster sessions will be digital. Selected works will be displayed on 50” touch screen monitors for all attendees to view in a public space.
The days of shipping your posters to your hotel room in advance or carefully cramming them into airline overhead compartments are a thing of the past. Going digital allows you to hone in on your tablet skills—you won’t find any poster board here!
Several commissions including costume, education, lighting, and scene design will hold poster sessions where educators can share techniques and highlight successful processes.
Poster Sessions are a unique way to share information to a wide range of attendees and are widely accepted as meeting the requirements for scholarly publication since all submissions are blind juried by each commission’s selection committee. Poster Session allow for expansion of your scholarly activity, including new solutions to old problems, innovations, research results, discoveries, developments, and more.
Poster Session judges will adjudicate submissions and determine which will be included in the sessions, as part of the Annual Conference & Stage Expo.
When submitting, all graphics or videos need to be 1920×1080, 16:9 Ratio. To submit your digital poster, click here.
