The Early Career Mentoring program is aimed towards Early Career Members whose goal is to attend the 57th USITT Annual Conference & Stage Expo in St. Louis. You must apply by Jan. 30 to be eligible.
Two candidates are selected based on things such as their work history, background, their skills and interest in their future field, as well as how well they articulate their future goals.
The candidates who are chosen will receive full conference registration and $1,000 to offset their conference expenses.
Mentees will be paired with a USITT Fellow, a recognized expert in their field of study who will help them make connections that could prove invaluable in their careers.
To be eligible for Early Career Mentoring:
- You must be a USITT Early Career Member.
- You must have been a Member of USITT for at least two years.
- You must agree to attend the USITT 2017 Annual Conference & Stage Expo in St. Louis March 8-11, 2017.
- You must agree to write a report of your mentoring experience by May 30, 2017.
