The Tech Olympics are back! Teams will compete on Friday, March 10 from 7 to 10 p.m. in Room 105 at America’s Center.
This year, solo competitions in costume, sound, knot tying, props events, and team competitions for the lighting and stage management events will be put to the test. This year’s mystery event features a skill that has been seen before in the Tech Olympics, and it is a skill that all young professionals in the entertainment industry should know.
The adjudication team is packed with skilled professionals from the academic and the professional world. They have traveled from all over the country to work with the student competitors. In addition to the regular donors, several new companies will be donating prizes this year.
Tech Olympics is sponsored by Vectorworks, a line of industry-specific 2D/3D design software solutions that allows designers to advance their ideas from concept through completion.
