Event Safety Alliance’s 2017 Event Safety Summit
Registration is now open for the 2017 Event Safety Summit taking place Wednesday, November 29-Friday, December 1 at Rock Lititz in Lititz, PA.
The 2017 Event Safety Summit will examine “Pillars of Planning” through a series of presentations, core concept workshops, case studies, and examination of “real life” event safety plans. The event will also feature several small group discussions geared towards specific areas of the live event industry, including corporate events, venues, festivals, and production.
Printhead Studio
Printhead Studio, the newly re-branded digital printing division of Rose Brand Inc., introduces its new direct dye digital printer and expanded capabilities.
The product is the Durst’s Rhotex 500 printer. The printer goes beyond 4-color CMYK printing to produce 6-color CMYK+OV prints.
The 6-color printing process adds orange and violet to the standard four colors. The new printer uses water-based and odorless dispersion inks, which are infused into the fibers of the fabric instead of printed on top of it. Therefore, images stay vibrant over time, even after multiple washings.
