- If a more suburban feel is your style, Whittier, Minnesota is a 15-minute drive from Minneapolis and is known as one of the best towns for young professionals.

- Though it’s known for its harsh winters, don’t rule Minneapolis out just for fear of frostbite. Minneapolis hosts a different kind of sidewalk; the Minneapolis Skyway is an indoor walkway system that links many downtown buildings.
