Weltenbauer.Youngsters.Award

It is with the exceptional talent of Leonardo da Vinci in mind that an assignment will be given to the contestants for the Weltenbauer.Youngsters.Award 2019.

Prizes will be awarded for individual or team works on the subject of “Leonardo da Vinci.” Disciplines include stage design, theatre stage, costumes, decoration (including partial decoration), set design, makeup, lighting concepts, videos, and audio installations.

Participants are invited to submit finished works or draft designs on this subject. For instance, models or drawings; or finished works such as paintings, sculptures, costumes, short films, etc. Those eligible are trainees, students (ranging from schools to vocational and higher education) from any country specializing in the theatre, films and event technology.

Entries must be submitted no later than Feb. 29, 2019, at www.wir-sind-weltenbauer.de, which also provides detailed technical information. Participants may also upload a video clip introducing themselves.

Long Reach Long Riders’ Announce 16th Annual Ride

The Long Reach Long Riders announce their 16th annual charity motorcycle ride. The ride, appropriately dubbed “The Altimeter Tour,” begins on July 6 in Denver, Co, and returns there on July 13.

The Long Reach Long Riders annual charity motorcycle ride benefits Behind the Scenes and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. What began in 2004 as a single event immediately turned into an annual ride that has raised over $650,000.00 for the two charities.
