For the first time ever, Prop Lab will make its debut at Stage Expo at USITT 2018.
The lab will provide demonstrations and hands-on activities led by esteemed properties masters, educators, artisans, puppet makers, and fight masters throughout the Conference.
“Props have become a great resource for people to learn tricks of the trade, ideas, and techniques on how to take ordinary objects and make them extraordinary,” said properties master and USITT 2017 Early Career Honors speaker Jay Duckworth. “We want to do our best to serve this diverse community, so we are bringing in some of the top people in the field to help guide folks in some of the older traditions and cutting-edge procedures.”
