The latest in the Designs of Series published by USITT – The Designs of Santo Loquasto – will be available at USITT 2017. The author, Arnold Wengrow, will be signing copies in the lobby outside the bookstore on Friday, March 10 at 11:00 a.m. A limited number of Santo Loquasto bookplate signatures will be available.
Santo Loquasto is USITT’s 2017 Distinguished Achievement Award winner in Scene Design & Technology.
Loquasto has some 430 projects to his credit in his 52-year career. He has been nominated for Oscars for costumes and production design for three Woody Allen films. He has also designed for the Metropolitan Opera and the Chicago Lyric Opera and for dance at the New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and the National Ballet of Canada.
