PDWs
Come early to enhance your skills with the Professional Development Workshops (PDWs) and stay for the Conference!
Training Intensives through USITT’s PDWs offer opportunities for in-depth learning on a range of topics from projection mapping to digital costume design rendering.
These programs are half-day, full-day, or two-day programs. The workshops are held on Monday, March 12; Tuesday, March 13; and Saturday, March 17.

Whether you’re a working practitioner eager to take your skills to the next level, or just getting started and seeking an in-depth look at new technologies, USITT Presents has a training offering for you.
USITT Presents sessions are made available through a collaboration between USITT and its organizational members to provide product- and technique-specific training for USITT members and their colleagues.
These sessions come at the lowest prices available for professional training in the industry.
These sessions are an additional cost and take place March 13-15. Select sessions offer ETCP Renewal credits.

New World Rigging Symposium
The New World Rigging Symposium, presented by ESTA and USITT, will take place March 13-14, 2018, in conjunction with the Annual Conference & Stage Expo in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
During 10 sessions, participants will be given the opportunity to further their technical knowledge, keep up to date with codes and standards, and learn what it’s like to work as a rigger in other segments of the entertainment industry.
The New World Rigging Symposium will include multiple opportunities for attendees to network and hear from experts in related fields. Bill Sapsis of Sapsis Rigging and Eddie Raymond of IATSE will moderate.
USITT Conference attendees will receive a discounted price to attend both events.
