With so much to do at USITT 2017, finding time to schedule everything can be intimidating. We want to alleviate some of that stress by offering you Express 90-minute sessions in lighting, sound, and costume.

Lighting and sound console demos taught by the manufacturers themselves will take place Thursday through Saturday on the Expo floor. The sessions allow up to 16 people each and last for about an hour and 15 minutes. You’ll get hands-on experience in an accelerated training session that will give you all you need to know in a way that is easily digestible so you can be onto your next scheduled activity. Hosted by Baby Lock, these training sessions in the areas of Embroidery, Decorative Serger Stitching, Lace Creations with a Serger and Decorative Stitching and Ribbon Embellishment are also a compacted version of longer sessions which will keep you informed but also open to pack more into your schedule. These sessions will be taught by Baby Lock instructors and are designed for all skill levels. Four sessions per day and up to 24 people per session allow for an intimate setting with plenty of options to attend. Sign up here.

The costume studio supported by Baby Lock and Bernina will take place on the Expo floor and provide hands-on experience with the latest sewing machines to learn new techniques, try different machines, or finish a product you started in one of your sessions. You will also have the opportunity to make items and raise money for local causes. No additional sign-up is required.

These sessions are completely unique to USITT providing express learning, hands-on training, and a one-of-a-kind Expo experience.
