The new Mythos 2 and Supersharpy 2 fixtures made by Claypaky are now originally equipped with an OSRAM SIRIUS HRI 440W lamp and OSRAM Driver. The SIRIUS HRI 440W lamp has also now been approved by Claypaky for use in the original Mythos and Supersharpy fixtures when a Claypaky upgrade kit is purchased from an authorized Claypaky distributor.
The OSRAM SIRIUS HRI 440W lamp can only be used in the original Mythos and Supersharpy after retrofitting the fixture with the OSRAM lamp driver and firmware update that are part of the upgrade kit supplied by Claypaky. The use of the OSRAM SIRIUS HRI 440W does not modify the features compared to the current lamp; the two versions are totally compatible.
