Design Expo Seeks New Members

The USITT Design Expo Committee is accepting new membership. The committee includes exhibition planning and organization, exhibition set-up and maintenance, and participation in the adjudication process.

Availability for the 58th Annual USITT Conference & Stage Expo in Ft. Lauderdale is required for consideration. On-site exhibition activities begin on Tuesday, March 13, 2018.

ESA Severe Weather Summit

The Event Safety Alliance (ESA) will hold its Severe Weather Summit March 22-23, 2018, in Norman, Oklahoma. The summit is designed to aid event and venue professionals of all types in preparing for and responding to dangerous weather conditions. Over the course of two days, experts from NOAA and the National Weather Service will explore a handful of topics.

The Severe Weather Summit will provide attendees with the knowledge necessary to identify and prepare for potential threats, and how to use existing technology and expertise to safely handle a severe weather event.
