Earn 10 ETCP credits when you join USITT at Mars Hill University in North Carolina for our USITT Presents: OSHA 10 class June 13 and 14.
The OSHA 10-Hour Training program is intended to provide a variety of instruction on general industry safety and health topics for both entry-level and experienced workers. This training has been customized to focus on issues that are important for the Live Entertainment industry.
OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer Dave C. Glowacki will cover topics such as introduction to OSHA, electrical safety, aerial work platforms, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), walking and working surfaces, emergency action plans, hazard communication, fall protection, and noise and hearing conservation.
If possible, Local OSHA Consultation Service representatives will lead portions of this workshop, and we hope to include a tour of a nearby performance facility in order to help familiarize participants with OSHA inspection procedures.
