Chauvet & Sons LLC has announced that it completed the acquisition of ChamSys Ltd., the Southampton, UK-based designer and manufacturer of lighting controllers. ChamSys provides Chauvet a strong presence in the controller market that complements its CHAUVET Professional lighting fixtures and LED video panels.

ETC has introduced the new Prodigy® P2 rigging hoist. A feature-rich yet budget-friendly system, P2 brings the safety, convenience, and flexibility of ETC Rigging to venues where other systems can’t go. The compact P2 hoist weighs only 300 pounds (powerhead only), but it is capable of lifting loads up to 650 pounds.
