Information provided by Jane Childs of Stagecraft Institute of Las Vegas.

Stagecraft Institute of Las Vegas (SILV) is hitting its teenage years with Season 13 and SILV 2019 is now accepting applications!

SILV is looking for students who can handle a week or two or eight in Las Vegas, who will benefit from meeting, networking with, and learning from leading professionals in their intensive hands-on training in live entertainment technology.

The ideal candidates are students with potential who are willing and ready to experience. Does a student you know (yours or someone else’s) come to mind? If so, consider introducing them to this opportunity!

Interviews will be conducted at USITT19  in Louisville, Ky, March 21-23, at Booth #348 and, for those unable to attend, by phone at (702) 388-7458 beginning March 1. If you have a student that could benefit from this experience and who should become part of Don Child’s Legacy, please email Director Jane Childs at jane@stagecraftinstitute.com.

Get a first-hand look at how you present yourself both in person and on paper during the “Tools and tips for beating out 89,000 people for your job: Improving your odds by Stagecraft Institute of Las Vegas” session led by director Jane Childs and other working professionals.

SILV founder Don Childs used to say, “Be prepared to interview them — not just to get interviewed!” Don was a long-time member of the Institute and strong supporter of both the Annual Conference & Stage Expo and regional sections.

And remember, it’s all about the experience!
