Looking for some live entertainment fun beyond the Kentucky International Convention Center? Look no further than ZFX Flying Effects. This local Louisville company is a complete provider for all flying effects, offering expert pre-production advice, custom built equipment, effective choreography, skilled and safe installation, and start-to-finish consultation. Now the largest flying company in the world, ZFX is opening their facility and flying “dojo” to USITT19 attendees.
For no additional fee to full Conference registrants, this off-site tour will show you the ins and outs of ZFX’s home and give you a chance to see what ZFX is really about.
Tours will take place Wednesday, March 20, through Saturday, March 23. Sign-ups for each tour will close at 5 p.m. the day prior to the trip.
Transportation to and from the location will be provided with groups meeting in the convention center at Third & Market Street to board each bus.
For example transportation will leave promptly at 11:30 a.m. for the 12 p.m., two-hour tour of the facility. The bus will reload at 2 p.m. for the return trip to the Convention Center. You will be back in time for the next session slot.
